Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and scale multi-petabyte Ceph clusters, high-speed NVMe-oF fabrics, and enterprise SAN/NAS systems.
- Maintain mission-critical virtualization and sovereign cloud stacks (Proxmox VE, VMware, OpenStack).
- Execute regular Disaster Recovery drills, immutable backup validations, and replication tests.
- Profile storage latency and optimize Linux kernel storage subsystems.
Candidate Qualifications
- 4+ years managing enterprise storage systems and production Linux servers.
- Deep practical expertise with Ceph storage architecture (CRUSH maps, BlueStore, peering) and ZFS pools.
- Proven operational experience with KVM, Proxmox VE, or VMware vSphere environments.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python for infrastructure automation.
