What it is
Server room build and testing prepares the physical infrastructure of a data centre or server room before IT equipment goes live. We install racks, build cable routes, set up redundant A+B power and verify cooling. Before the equipment is started, we run load tests at full capacity to confirm that power and cooling can carry the full load even if one power path fails. The results are documented in a test report. We coordinate the work with the building manager and power specialists so the room is handed over in the agreed scope.
What you get
- A proven physical foundation: power and cooling are tested at full capacity before equipment is installed.
- Redundant power: A+B distribution that allows maintenance or survives the loss of one path.
- Orderly cable routes: structured cable management that makes maintenance and expansion easier.
- Test reports: documented results that serve as a baseline for ongoing operations.
How we work
- Survey: we assess the room, available power, cooling and the planned IT load.
- Design: we prepare the rack layout, cable route and power distribution plan.
- Installation: we install the racks, build the cable routes and connect A+B power.
- Load testing and handover: we verify power and cooling at full capacity and hand the room over into operation.
