What it is
Storage design and testing takes a storage system from calculation to proven operation. We analyse your workloads, calculate the required IOPS, throughput and capacity, choose the architecture and deploy high-load Ceph or ZFS storage. Before handover we put the system through stress and failure tests: we pull disks, nodes and network links to see how it behaves. Your existing data is migrated to the new storage without downtime. We choose the architecture based on the nature of your data, not on one vendor’s recommendations. That way you know what the storage can do before production data lands on it.
What you get
- Performance by calculation: the storage is designed for your real workloads, not for generic assumptions.
- Proven resilience: test reports show how the system performs when disks or nodes fail.
- Zero-downtime migration: data is moved without stopping applications or users.
- Scalability: an architecture that lets you add capacity by adding new nodes.
How we work
- Workload analysis: we measure and analyse current workloads, data volume and growth rate.
- Design: we calculate IOPS, capacity and redundancy and prepare the architecture and specification.
- Deployment and testing: we install the storage, run stress and failure tests and document the results.
- Migration and handover: we move the data without downtime and hand over the system with operating documentation.
