What it is
Software-defined storage (SDS) runs on standard servers instead of proprietary appliances. We design and deliver storage platforms based on Ceph and ZFS: fast block storage for databases and virtual machines, file storage, and independent S3-compatible object storage for backups, archives and applications. Capacity and performance grow by adding nodes, and data is replicated or erasure-coded so a failed disk or server does not mean lost data.
What you get
- Growth without licence fees: open-source storage software means you pay for hardware and expertise, not for capacity licences.
- Performance where it matters: block storage tuned for databases and virtualisation, sized for your actual workload.
- Protection against data loss: replication, checksums and self-healing keep data intact when components fail.
- No vendor lock-in: standard hardware and open formats let you choose suppliers and expand on your own terms.
How we work
- Workload analysis: we measure your current capacity, IOPS and throughput needs and estimate growth.
- Capacity and architecture design: we size the cluster, choose between Ceph and ZFS for each use case and define redundancy levels.
- Deployment and stress tests: we install the platform and test it under load and simulated disk and node failures.
- Migration and operation: we move your data with minimal disruption and can monitor and maintain the storage afterwards.
